General Conditions:

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Temporary high pressure at high altitudes between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, then gradually approaching Westerly trough, thus worsening conditions between Tuesday evening and Thursday afternoon/evening, bad weather in the Venetia mountains and likely improving conditions against Thursday evening, more significantly on Friday with Northerly anticyclonic flux again.


PARTICULAR PHENOMENON: Between Wednesday and Thursday chance of abundant precipitations, also thunderstorms.


FORECAST VALID FOR THE AFTERNOON-EVENING OF MONDAY 06: Partial temporary sunshine alternating with irregular clouds and cumuli. Scattered rainshowers not excluded (10/30%). Low clouds near the mountains in the evening.


Forecast

TUESDAY 7: Generally quite dull, mostly broken or overcast, warm and moist. Isolated rainshowers not excluded already in the morning (10%), higher risk of precipitations during the afternoon (50/70%) until the evening with showers, local thunderstorms especially in the Prealps and Southern Dolomites.
Temperatures: Slightly rising low temperatures, falling high temperatures in the valleys, slightly rising at high altitudes.
At 2000 m: min 6°C, max 9°C; at 3000 m: min 1°C, max 3°C.

Winds: Southerly light in the valleys, locally stronger in the evening; South-westerly moderate or strong, 10-25 km/h at 2000 m, 25-50 km/h at 3000 m.

WEDNESDAY 8: Unsettled, disturbance at times, with likely precipitations (80/100%) already in the night, showers, even thunderstorms. Still high risk of precipitations all the day, yet more changeable cloudiness with intermittent precipitations from the afternoon on. Generally 20/40 mm, likely more in some areas. Snowfall level at approximately 2900/3000 m.
Temperatures: Steady on the valley floors, further slightly rising at high altitudes, especially low temperatures.
At 2000 m: min 7°C, max 9°C; at 3000 m: min 2°C, max 3°C.

Winds: Changeable light, stronger in case of thundershowers; Southerly moderate at high altitudes, 10-15 km/h at 2000 m, 15-35 km/h at 3000 m.

THURSDAY 9: Still unsettled, especially between the night and early afternoon, likely showers and thunderstorms, ceasing in the afternoon in the West at first with more likely widespread clear-ups in the night. Lower snowfall level at 2600/2800 m.


FRIDAY 10: Mostly sunny, except for low clouds in the cold hours near the mountains. Rising high temperatures in the valleys.
